World population growth slows down

According to the Statistics Agency, the number of permanent residents will increase by 753,600 in 2022.

The annual increase in the permanent world population:

In 2017 - 86 million people;
In 2018 - 84 million people;
In 2019 - 81 million people;
In 2020 - 76 million people;
In 2021, 68 million people.

According to the United Nations, as of 15 November 2022, the total world population is 8,034.3 million. Men make up 50.5% and women 49.5%.
