YouTube's new platform design is being tested

YouTube has been actively testing a new homepage design in recent weeks. It is noted that the new design will appear in the web and mobile versions.
Meanwhile, the thumbnails now have rounded corners on the home page as well as the search and video pages. That is, the corners of the carousel with different themes have been more rounded as a rectangle. The corners of videos in "Shorts" have become more rounded on the home page and in search on the video page. "Like/dislike", "share" and other buttons are now in tabbed form.
There are also some changes to the desktop for the PC. Most importantly, the desktop, which used to look grey, has now been changed to "AMOLED", that is completely black.
YouTube Music for Android has also switched to this design. In addition, some carousels, such as "Shorts", are placed in separate cells with a light grey outline.
It should be noted that the YouTube homepage redesign is currently not widespread and is in the process of testing. There is also information that the new design will be approved after users approval.
