Abdulla Aripov met with Rustam Minnikhanov

Today, April 24, the Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, who is on a practical visit to Tashkent, met with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

“In these difficult times, we have maintained an effective trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian partnership and continue to strengthen cooperation,” said Rustam Minnikhanov.

He noted that with the support of the Uzbek side, the Center for Medical Education of the KFU branch and the technopark were opened in the city of Jizzakh. Abdulla Aripov noted that as a result of mutual visits, the volume of trade turnover is increasing.

"Each of your visits is accompanied by the opening of new facilities. Today you were at the opening of the Jizzakh Technopark. I hope that it will be as successful as Chirchik," the Prime Minister said.

The parties also noted that there are still many opportunities for cooperation in such areas as energy, automotive, helicopter, gas motor fuel, and agriculture.
