Big changes in the textile industry

At a press conference held on August 12 with the participation of the first deputy chairman of the Uztekstilprom Association Davron Vakhabov, the reforms carried out in the textile industry in recent years and their contribution to the development of the country were analyzed.

Currently, a set of measures is being carried out in the republic aimed at organizing the production of a wide range of high-quality textile and garment-knitted products, deepening the localization of its production, as well as increasing the export potential of domestic producers.

In particular, D. Vakhabov in his speech emphasized that the main revolutionary turning point of the last 5 years was the creation of cotton clusters by enterprises of the textile industry, the refusal of the state from the "state order" for growing cotton and organizing contractual work with farmers for its cultivation, as a result of which in agriculture, there have been dramatic changes.
