CSTO summit will be held in Moscow

On May 16, Moscow will host a meeting of heads of CSTO member states dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the CSTO.

“A meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will be held in the Kremlin in Moscow on May 16, where Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Kazakh President Qasim-Jomart Tokayev, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will attend” - CSTO press service said in a report.

The meeting is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the CSTO. Stanislav Zas, CSTO Secretary General, will also take part in.

As expected, the members of the CSTO Collective Security Council will discuss the situation in the field of responsibility of the organization, its development prospects and adopt a Declaration on the anniversary of the CSTO.

In 2022, the Republic of Armenia is expected to chair the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
