Forbes lists Uzbekistan as one of the 50 best tourist destinations in 2022

The magazine noted that the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, the historical sites of Uzbekistan, are "included in the UNESCO World Heritage List".

“Developed infrastructure in Uzbekistan allows travelers to easily travel from the capital Tashkent to Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva, the main cities of the Great Silk Road. The three cities are connected by modern high-speed trains. Almost every city in this area is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List".

"Itchan Kala in the antique city of Khiva was the first Uzbek city to be encompassed in the World Heritage List. Many decorated ancient madrasas (schools) in Bukhara provide an opportunity to visit historical monuments and buy souvenirs from ancient trade domes. Samarkand mesmerizes with its elegant Registan Square” - says the publication.
