Fruit production increased by 4.6% in 2022

According to the Statistical agency, almost 3 million tonnes of fruit were grown on farms of all categories in Uzbekistan in 2022.

-This figure was 4.6% higher than in 2021.
- When analysed by farm category, 53.5% of the total volume of grown fruit came from farms and backyard holdings, 43.3% from private farms, and 3.2% from organisations involved in agricultural activities.
