Media Forum under the slogan Rooted Past, Strong Future

As we reported earlier, today, on October 22, a media forum with the participation of representatives of the member countries of the Turkic Council began its work in Istanbul.

The opening part of the forum was addressed by the Secretary General of the Turkic Council Baghdad Amreev, the head of the communications department under the President of the Republic of Turkey Fahrettin Altun, Adviser to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar, as well as President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking in a video message, noted the importance of this event.

During the forum, an event was held on the topic "Common cultural future: TV series and film industry in the Turkic world", as well as a special session dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the independence of the Turkic world.

The main purpose of creating a media forum is to show a common desire and will to create a future within the framework of the common idea and thinking of the Turkish world, effectively deal with problems through unity and solidarity, develop cooperation in the Turkic world through the media, strengthen mutual trust and convey to youth consciousness of unity.

In this regard, a seminar was organized on the topic "The future of the Turkic world: new Ulugbeks, Alishers Navoi, Ahmed Yasavi from the Turkic world".
