Officially, Ramadan Hayit will be celebrated on May 2

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On the celebration of Ramadan Khayit.” The decision of the Ulema Council of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan that the first day of Ramadan Khayit in 2022 falls on May 2 of this year was taken into account.
Scientists from the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, relying on Islamic religious sources and astronomical data, came to the conclusion that the first day of Ramadan Hayit in 2022 falls on Monday, May 2 this year.
From this it follows that the Uzbeks in honor of Ramadan Khayit have a rest these days:
Sunday, May 1 - regular day off (for everyone);
May 2, Monday - the first day of Ramadan Hayit (non-working holiday);
Tuesday 3 May - additional day off (for everyone);
Wednesday, May 4th is an additional day off (for everyone).
