Prime Minister of Tajikistan visited Uzbekistan

On May 14-15, Tashkent is hosting the 8th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan.

In this regard, a delegation headed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kakhir Rasulzada arrived in our country today, May 14.

At the Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov, the distinguished guest was met by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov.

After arrival, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Kakhir Rasulzad, who arrived in our country on a working visit to participate in a regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission.

The head of our state noted with great satisfaction the current high level of cooperation achieved thanks to the political will and decisive efforts of the leaders of the two countries.

Kakhir Rasulzada thanked the President of Uzbekistan for the warm welcome and conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

The Prime Minister of Tajikistan stressed that he will make every effort to jointly comprehensively prepare for the upcoming summit of the heads of the two states, as well as to strengthen the large-scale partnership between our fraternal countries and peoples.

The program of the visit includes familiarization with the activities of a number of industrial facilities in the city of Tashkent.

Following the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, it is planned to sign a number of documents.
