Prospective young doctors will receive an additional allowance of up to 1 million sum

The Regulation on the Fund for Material Incentives and Development of Medical Institutions has undergone state registration at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan. According to the regulation, aspiring young doctors will receive a special monthly allowance of up to 1 million soums.

According to the statute, the fund is to be spent in the following two areas:

75 per cent for material incentives for medical, pharmaceutical and other personnel in all public health facilities;
25 per cent for strengthening, modernizing and repairing the material and technical basis of the medical establishment.
The following types of material incentives apply to the staff of medical establishments

Monthly allowances of up to 100 per cent of wages for highly qualified medical and pharmaceutical workers in a medical institution who have achieved special results and who work conscientiously and qualitatively, and up to 75 per cent for other workers;

Special monthly allowances of up to 1 million soums for aspiring young doctors

Additional monthly allowances of up to 30 per cent of the salary of doctors and nurses working on the second shift by extending the opening hours of day clinics at family doctor's offices, family policlinics and multipurpose central policlinics to 8 p.m;

Cash bonuses as well as monetary assistance on the occasion of professional and other holidays for all employees of medical institutions.

Monthly percentage bonuses are based on a rating system for the staff of a health-care facility.
