Thousands of Bakhmal workers have been hired for BMB saffron plantations

Thousands of workers, scientists and specialists are now being hired to harvest the saffron medicinal plantations grown under the national brand BMB shafaron in the Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region

While the bulk of the workers harvest the high-quality saffron flowers, another group hires experienced specialists to extract the columns from the flowers.

It is worth noting that in order for the saffron product to be ready, a number of activities are required.

In particular, the following high-tech processes will be introduced, that is, our qualified specialists in modern European drying equipment will be dried columns of flowers at a given temperature and over a specified period of time.

Process work performed by the last group of workers, in which the measurement and packing of the saffron product is performed, is also considered to be important.

For the workers working at saffron plantations all the comforts and conditions are created: warm clothes, timely hot meals, transport services, places of rest and, of course, timely payment of wages for the work done.

At present the demand in European markets for high quality saffron produced under the brand Oro Rosso Milano is growing day by day.

In the near future there are plans to expand the plantation area. This, in turn, contributes to an increase in the production of export products, local employment and progressive development of the territory.
