Uzbekistan ranked 21st in the world in terms of cheap Internet services

In the field of information and communication technologies, comprehensive work is being carried out to improve mobile communication for the population.

This action is implemented as part of the provision of high-speed Internet to social facilities. In particular, 18,791 kilometers of fiber-optic communication lines were laid to general education schools, preschool educational institutions, as well as to health facilities.

Work is also underway to lower prices for Internet services. This year, Uzbekistan ranked 21st in the world among the 230 countries with the cheapest Internet. Last year, the country was ranked 54th.
