Uzhydromet issued an emergency warning

Uzhydromet warned that on February 24-26, 2023, snowfalls, periodic heavy rains, fog, wind gusts up to 15-20 m /s are predicted on the section of the A – 373 Tashkent–Osh highway passing through the Kamchik pass, snow drifts are possible on the highway.

Also, due to the expected precipitation on February 21-28 of this year and significant changes in air temperature in the mountainous regions of the republic, including:

A snow cover has been declared in Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Tashkent, Namangan and Ferghana regions.
