Women's reproductive health centres will be opened in Tashkent, Samarkand and Fergana, based on Singapore's experience

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, during the state visit of the head of state to Singapore in order to further strengthen the health of women in our country, the birth of healthy children, prevention of disability was organized action "Virtus Health Singapore Pte., Ltd." reached an agreement on the project to open centres "female reproductive health: prevention of infertility, development of genetic laboratory, artificial pregnancy".

"Among the agreements reached in the field of healthcare during the state visit of our country's President to Singapore is a joint project for the creation of advanced medical facilities in our country.

In particular, "Virtus Health Singapore Pte., Ltd" company has been established on the instruction of the head of state to further promote women's health, birth of healthy children, prevention of disability.

This company was founded in Australia in 2002 and is the 4th largest provider of reproductive health services in the world. It has 7 hospitals, 44 reproductive health clinics and 54 laboratory centres in the UK, Ireland, Denmark and Singapore.

Considering that there are many families suffering from infertility in our country, and most of them are young brides and grooms, it is clear that there is a great need for such facilities in Uzbekistan.

Therefore, as part of the joint project, women's reproductive health centres will be established at the multi-profile medical centre in Tashkent and perinatal facilities in Samarkand and Ferghana regions based on the experience of this foreign company", said Amrillo Inoyatov, Minister of Health of Uzbekistan.
