Working on weekends and holidays is prohibited by law

In exceptional cases, employees may be hired on weekends, but must be paid at least double for those days.

According to Articles 130 and 132 of the Labor Code, working on weekends is prohibited. Involvement of individual workers in work on weekends by the order of the employer is possible only in exceptional cases on the grounds specified in the collective agreement. If it was not formed, it is allowed by the employer on the grounds established by the trade union committee in agreement with another representative body of employees.

On holidays (non-working days) in places where it is impossible to suspend work due to production and technical conditions and other conditions, in works that require service to the population, as well as urgent repairs and loading - unloading operations are allowed.
