Memorandum signed between 5 organizations to take judo promotion to new level

Secretary General of the International Judo Federation (IJF) Jean-Luc Rougé, Minister of Sports Development Adham Ikramov, Minister of Pre-school Education Agrippina Shin, Minister of Public Education Bakhtiyor Saidov and Deputy Chairman of the NOC, Chairman of the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan Azizjon Kamilov signed a memorandum on cooperation.
The event was also attended by general secretary of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov. Jean-Luc Rougé spoke first on behalf of the authorities and spoke about the importance of the memorandum. First of all Mr. Rouget emphasized that our country organized the first World Judo Championship at high level and expressed satisfaction with international federation's strengthening of judo popularization among the youth of our country.
Also in his speech Minister of sport development Adham Ikramov emphasized that he was pleased with the result of our national team at these competitions, which were hosted by Tashkent, and especially that the championship will have a special place in the history of sport in our country. In addition, he said that the visit of respected President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to the world premier is a sign of how much attention is paid to it.
Azizjon Kamilov also said that the championship was organized at a high level with the support of our government and that the signed memorandum will be important in the development of future world champions such as Davlat Bobonov and Muzaffarbek Torboev. In addition, Agrippina Shin and Bakhtiyor Saidov noted that this document has its place in strengthening the promotion of healthy lifestyles among our young people.
According to the signed memorandum, the International Judo Federation supplies kimono and tatami to pre-school educational institutions and schools included in the project, and the Ministries of Preschool Education and Public Education create the necessary conditions for the youth. The Ministry of Sports Development and the Judo Federation of Uzbekistan take on the task of providing these institutions with experienced coaches and improving their qualifications.
